All are welcome to join for an afternoon of volunteering and learning in the school garden. Come from 1-2:30pm for the work bee and stay for a short workshop on winter sowing.

Buzzz buzzz... It's time for a work bee in the Wickaninnish Community School Garden! All are welcome to join us for this afternoon of volunteering in the garden. We'll be cleaning up garden beds, fixing infrastructure, putting final touches on the water tank site, and preparing for spring. If you're able, please bring your gloves, coffee cup, and favourite garden tool! We will provide hot chocolate, tea, and fruit.
After the work bee, stay to learn about winter sowing! Winter sowing allows you to get a jump start on growing food in these cold, dark months.
See you there from 1-3pm at the Wickaninnish Community School garden in Tofino on February 8th.
